It's only rained twice in the seventeen year history of Animal Rescue Fund of the Hampton's Annual Stroll to the Sea. This year there wasn't a cloud in the sky as we walked from the Mulford Farm on Main Street to Main Beach and back, with plenty of relaxed time on the shoreline. Some of the more adventurous pups had a frolic in the surf, others ran around on the sand, and one of my two girls decided to head back to the farm on her own. The alert East Hampton Village Police gave her a ride back to the beach.
ARF met its fundraising goal of $45,000.
