Harvest Dinner and Live Auction Sold Out. Tickets for 10-Mile Dinners Still Available

HARVEST: Wine Auction and Celebration of Long Island’s East End will take place September 24-25, 2010, at Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack and at vineyards across the Twin Forks. It offers several ways to celebrate the bounty of our Fall harvest:

 Friday, September 24

  • 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. 10-Mile Dinners.
    At spectacular private locations across the East End.
    Be one of only 10 diners at these private homes and gardens, enjoying an unforgettable, locally sourced meal, each hosted by a top East End winemaker and regional chef.

 Saturday, September 25

  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Wine Salon.
    At wineries and other sites across the East End.
    Choose an hour-long educational, intellectual program (or two or three) on wine-making and tasting, cooking, sensory explorations and more.

  • 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., Festival Tasting of Long Island’s Bounty.
    The Grand Prix field at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, Sagaponack.
    Enjoy a grand tasting of Long Island wines, including wines to be offered at auction. Savor local, seasonal dishes made by East End chefs partnered with farmers and food artisans. Win one (or more) of more than 100 regional treasures in the silent auction. Bidding will end at 6 p.m.

  • 7 p.m. – 11 p.m., Gala Dinner & Live Auction of Long Island Wine. SOLD OUT
    The Grand Prix field at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, Sagaponack. Ticket includes entry to the Festival Tasting.
    Angela LaGreca of NBC’s TODAY Show will host this world-class, farm-to-table dinner created by East End chefs Keith Luce of the new Jedediah Hawkins Inn (formerly of The Herbfarm, the White House), and North Fork Table and Inn’s Gerry Hayden (formerly Aureole and Amuse) and Claudia Fleming (formerly Gramercy Tavern). Be ready to bid on exceptional lots of Long Island wines, including half-barrels of merot and merlot-based blends, and extraordinary experiences in a high-energy live auction. End this fabulous evening with live music and dancing, courtesy of Matt Marshak and his quartet.
