A new website, Long Island Restaurant News has come along just when we need it. LIRN replaces what used to be DishingonDining. It’s the place to go for a wide range of restaurant news for Long Island—including, of course, the Hamptons. It has the definitive word on openings and seasonal menus, deals and restaurant weeks, top chef’s whereabouts and celebrity hangouts, and places to go for a special night out or a family outing.
LIRN functions as a guide with a restaurant directory and lists of dining deals, and also as a comprehensive newsletter with food and restaurant news. The site is well designed, simple to navigate and filled with useful information. I’m using it almost every day.
We’re not competing sites. Here at Hamptons Rich and Pour, I aim to interpret the Hamptons, to report selectively and subjectively on wine and food, among other subjects, as part of our Hamptons lifestyle.
